Study Trip in the USA: Jetzt bewerben!

Unter dem Titel “The State of the Transatlantic Union” veranstaltet die Initiative junger Transatlantiker e.V. (IjT) in Kooperation mit der International Association of Political Science Students (IAPSS) im August 2014 einen zweiwöchigen Study Trip in die Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika. Die Teilnehmer werden vom 10.08.2014 bis zum 22.09.2014 mit Entscheidungsträgern aus Politik, Gesellschaft, Denkfabriken und dem akademischen Bereich zusammentreffen und sich intensiv mit Gegenwart und Zukunft der europäisch-amerikanischen Beziehung auseinandersetzen. Von NSA über TTIP bis zum “Rise of China” stehen alle großen Debatten rund um die transatlantischen Beziehungen auf der Agenda.

Einsendeschluss ist Sonntag, der 23. März 2014 (23:59 Uhr CET).

We are happy to herewith officially launch the Call for Applications for our Study Trip to the United States, jointly organized by the Young Transatlantic Initiative (YTI) and the International Association of Political Science Students (IAPSS), heading to New York City, Washington D.C. and variety of destinations along the US American East Coast from 10.-22.08.2014.

Our two-week long trip will focus on the „The State of the Transatlantic Union“, during which 15 members of IAPSS and 15 members of the YTI will meet with policy-makers, civil society actors, think tank and research institute staff, members of the diplomatic arena and creatives, and discuss and evaluate both present and future of the European – US American relations.

Applications are accepted until March 23rd, 23.59 CET. A joint committee of IAPSS and the Young Transatlantic Initiative will conduct the selection of participants based on the quality of received applications and related letters of motivation.
