NulandFelix Seidler and Moritz Wargalla were pleased to be invited by the Embassy of the United States to discuss the youth’s view on the state of the transatlantic relationship with Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland. It was an excellent opportunity to share with a high level diplomat our ideas for future transatlantic cooperation. The discussion was very open and vivid covering topics from TTIP over NSA to Germany’s future role in the world.
As a career diplomat Ambassador Nuland served as spokesperson for the United States Department of State under President Obama, as the United States Permanent Representative to NATO under President Bush and as principal deputy foreign policy adviser to Vice President Dick Cheney before assuming her current post.
