Christian Ochsner, PhD student at the ifo Institute, visited our regional group Saxony past Monday to discuss the current negotiations towards the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP). We discussed TTIP from an economic, political and geopolitical perspective. Christian shared his perspectives on a variety of trade agreements already in place or under negotiation and spoke about the importance and role of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
